Taco Soup

A delicious soup with the flavor of tacos. This soup will make a delicious aroma in your kitchen while it is simmering on your stove.

Ingredients:

  • 2 pounds ground bee
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 1 can diced tomatoes
  • 1 can tomato sauce
  • 1 can whole kernel corn
  • 1 can pinto beans, drained
  • 1 cup water
  • 1 envelope taco seasoning mix
  • Shredded Cheddar cheese

Method:

  1. In a 4 quart saucepan, brown the ground beef and onion.
  2. Drain.
  3. Add tomatoes, tomato sauce, corn, beans, water and seasoning.
  4. Bring to a boil.
  5. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes.
  6. Serve with shredded cheese on each serving.

This can be served over a bowl of corn chips or crushed tortilla chips. Makes 2 ½ quarts.
