Hungarian Goulash Recipe

A recipe to the most delicious soup in the entire world no matter who you are. Unless you are a vegetarian.

How to cook the all famous Hungarian goulash

Ingredients:

  • 3 pounds of boneless beef chuck cut into 1” Cubes
  • 3 pounds of large onions cut into wedges
  • 1 table spoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons of Paprika
  • Parsley
  • Cooked noodles
  • Dairy sour cream

Directions:

Cut meat into 1-inch cubes, discarding excess fat and bone. Put meat, onions, salt and pepper, and 2 tablespoons paprika in a large heavy kettle. (No water in needed.) Cook over medium heat for about 20 minutes, stirring often. Simmer, covered, for 2 hours, stirring occasionally. Uncover and simmer until liquid cooks down to gravy consistency. Garnish with parsley and serve with noodles and a generous dollop of dairy sour cream topped with a sprinkling of paprika.

this is really my favorite! I always cooking it and store it in the freezer. When an unexpected guest arrive, I just thawed it out in the mcrowave , and presto! we have something delicious to share for.
