Baked Bean Soup

A recipe for Baked Bean Soup.

Ingredients:

  • 1-lb. 12-oz. can baked beans.
  • 6 slices browned bacon, chopped.
  • 2 Tbsp. bacon drippings.
  • 2 Tbsp. finely chopped onions.
  • 14 1/2-oz. can stewed tomatoes.
  • 1 Tbsp. brown sugar
  • 1 Tbsp. vinegar
  • 1 tsp. seasoning salt

Method:

  1. Combine all ingredients in slow cooker.
  2. Cover.
  3. Cook on Low 4-6 hours.

It sounds so easy and quick and I love beans!
I do not have a slow cooker so I will use a pot on low, low heat.
