Ingredients:
- 1 each Spanish onion
- 1 ounce garlic
- 2 jalapeno peppers
- 4 ounces brown sugar
- 2, 12 ounce cans of Coke
- 2 ounces vinegar
- 4 cups ketchup
- 1 ounce olive oil
Method:
In saucepot with medium high heat add in olive oil and onions then cook for three minutes till the onions are brown. Add in garlic, jalapeno peppers, brown sugar, and cook for one minute. Deglaze using the Coke then cook to a syrup consistency. Add ketchup to vinegar. Lower heat and simmer 20 minutes. Makes 1 quart of sauce.
