Whether you're looking to make something for a snack or a side dish. This recipe is easy and done with things that most of us already have in our kitchen or can easily get.

Preparing the Ingredients

If you don't want to wait for the oil after you done preparing start it now and it will be ready when you're ready to cook the onion. Use Vegetable oil.

Use one regular onion for every person that you're cooking for. Slice the onions as straight as you can with each slice I find this to be the hardest part. Two or three onions works best with the amount of ingredients I am going to tell you to use. If you want to make more then you will need to increase the amount of all the ingredients.

Then get two bowls. I find it helpful to have one of the bowls bigger than the other and you might find this helpful to.

In the bigger bowl or the first bowl put two cups flower, one teaspoon salt, ½ tablespoon black pepper and mix.

In the second bowl put 2 cups milk, one egg, one ½ teaspoons salt, one tablespoon black pepper and mix.

Preparing Onion Rings

Grab plates or anything with a flat surface. For each slice of onion dip it into the bowl with the milk and egg and then put it in the bowl with the flower and cover the slice of onion with flower. Then place on flat surface the plate or whatever you choose to use and make sure that when placing the onions down that none of them are on top of each other or touching. Repeat for each slice of onion.

Cooking the Onion Rings

Now that they have been prepared and ready to be cooked and the oil should be ready by now. Start putting the onions in the pan. Ether a pot or an actual fryer. I prefer a pot. Place about a plate full at a time in there. And when they reach a golden brown and if using a pot then also when they come to the top quickly take them out. Repeat for the rest.

Final

What your left with is tasty onion rings that you, your family, your friends, anybody will enjoy no matter if as a snack or a side dish to any meal.
