Just Fried Rice Here

A yummy recipe for fried rice that I always use.

Ingredients

  • 2 Cups white rice
  • 4-5 rashers of bacon
  • 2 spring onions
  • 1 egg
  • Soy sauce
  • ½ cup of frozen peas
  • Oil

Method

  1. Cook rice in advance, preferably the morning before you want to make the fried rice
  2. Remove the fat from the bacon and discard. Dice bacon.
  3. Chop spring onions and place aside with bacon
  4. Beat the egg until well combined and cook into a small omelet. Remove from pan and slice into thin strips.
  5. Pour a little oil into the pan. Cook bacon and spring onions until bacon is browned and spring onions are soft.
  6. Place sliced egg into the pan with bacon and spring onions
  7. Put pre-cooked rice into the pan with the egg, bacon and spring onions. Pour in frozen peas and toss well.
  8. Pour the soy sauce over all ingredients until rice turns a light brown. Toss through making sure all rice is covered with the soy.
  9. Serves 4. .
