A fast and easy version of this English dish. You get light fluffy puddings with only four ingredients and half an hour in the oven. |
Ingredients- 2 Eggs
- 1 Cup of All Purpose Flour
- 1 Cup of Milk
- 2 Tablespoons of Butter
Method- Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit (190 Celsius).
- Spray the muffin tin with a no-stick cooking spray to ensure the puddings don't stick to the cups.
- Beat the eggs and milk in a medium bowl. Stir in the flour until evenly mixed.
- Divide the butter evenly into 12 cups of a muffin tin -- this is about 1/2 teaspoon per cup.
- Place the tin in the preheated oven for approximately 2 minutes or until the butter is melted.
- Remove the tin from the oven. Spoon the batter into the cups of the muffin tin in equal amounts.
- DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR OF THE OVEN WHILE BAKING OR JAR THE OVEN AS IT MAY CAUSE YOUR PUDDINGS TO FALL!
- Bake for 5 minutes.
- Reduce heat to 350° Fahrenheit (175 ° Celsius). Bake for another 25 minutes or until the puddings are puffed up and a light golden brown.
