Easy Yorkshire Pudding

A fast and easy version of this English dish. You get light fluffy puddings with only four ingredients and half an hour in the oven.

Ingredients

  • 2  Eggs
  • 1  Cup of All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Cup of Milk
  • 2  Tablespoons of Butter

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 375° Fahrenheit (190 Celsius).
  2. Spray the muffin tin with a no-stick cooking spray to ensure the puddings don't stick to the cups.
  3. Beat the eggs and milk in a medium bowl.  Stir in the flour until evenly mixed.
  4. Divide the butter evenly into 12 cups of a muffin tin -- this is about 1/2 teaspoon per cup.
  5. Place the tin in the preheated oven for approximately 2 minutes or until the butter is melted.
  6. Remove the tin from the oven.  Spoon the batter into the cups of the muffin tin in equal amounts.
  7. DO NOT OPEN THE DOOR OF THE OVEN WHILE BAKING OR JAR THE OVEN AS IT MAY CAUSE YOUR PUDDINGS TO FALL!
  8. Bake for 5 minutes.
  9. Reduce heat to 350° Fahrenheit (175 ° Celsius).  Bake for another 25 minutes or until the puddings are puffed up and a light golden brown.
