Ingredients
- 1 cup (8oz pkg) of mozzarella cheese
- 2 tbsp. Salad oil
- 3 medium onions
- 1 pkg of English muffins
- Paprika
- Dill pickles sliced
Method
- Thirty minutes before serving shred mozzarella cheese if not already shredded.
- Thinly slice onions.
- In a 10-inch skillet over medium heat add oil and onions.
- Cook until lightly browned stirring occasionally.
- Split English muffins arrange on ungreased cookie sheet split-side up toast in broiler until browned on both sides turning muffins once.
- Top each toasted English muffin half with mozzarella cheese and spoon onions out with cheese on the other half.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Broil for five minutes until cheese hot and bubbly.
- Serve tarts with pickles if desired
