East West Combo Baked Beans

A quick and easy side dish to compliment hamburgers, hot dogs, or steaks on the grill.

A Smokey Brandeher Recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 Cans Pork and Beans
  • 1 Can Chili Spiced Kidney Beans
  • 1 Can Refried Beans
  • 1 Can Baked Beans
  • 1/2 C. Pure Maple Syrup
  • 1/4 C. Brown Sugar
  • 1 t. Prepared Mustard
  • 3 T. Catsup
  • 3 t. Dried Onion (if desired)

Directions

  1. Drain offall liquid on any of the above beans. Place all in a 1.5 qt baking dish.
  2. Add 1/2 C. Maple Syrup, 1/4 C. Brown Sugar, 1 t. Prepared Mustard, 3 T. Catsup and if desired 3 t. Dried Onion to the beans and mix.
  3. Heat oven to 350 degrees and bake 45 to 50 minutes. This time can be shortened by placing the prepared beans in a microwave safe casserole dish, cover with plastic wrap and microwave fourteen minutes onhighfor a 900 watt microwave.
  4. With a knife, puncture a single vent hole in the plastic wrap before placing in the microwave.
