Brown Rice and Wild Rice Blended with Black Soy Beans

A great staple vegetarian food seasoned with soy sauce. Fully customizable. Butter can be substituted with vegan product. dd cheese or tofu. Find the rice in the bulk section of your local co-op or health foods store.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup Eden organic black soy beans (prepared in water/seaweed)
  • spices: salt, pepper, italian seasoning
  • Tamari Soy Sauce
  • butter
  • 1 cup brown rice with wild rice blend
  • 2 cups water

Preparation

  1. Combine rice in pan, bring to boil, simmer for 40 minutes.
  2. Season rice with Tamari sauce, stir.
  3. Empty rice into a pyrex mixing bowl. (Or mixing bowl of your choice.)
  4. Add spices and butter, if desired.
  5. Stir.
  6. Add prepared organic black soy beans.
  7. Stir.
  8. Serve.
