Barbecued Beans

A yummy addition to hamburgers or chicken.

Ingredients:

  • 4 11-oz. cans pork and beans
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 tsp. dry mustard
  • 1/2 cup ketchup
  • 6 slices bacon, diced

Method:

  1. Pour 2 cans pork and beans into slow cooker.
  2. Combine brown sugar and mustard.
  3. Sprinkle half of mixture over beans.
  4. Cover with remaining cans of pork and beans.
  5. Sprinkle with rest of brown and mustard.
  6. Layer bacon over top.
  7. Spread ketchup over all.
  8. Cut through bean mixture a bit before heating.
  9. Cover.
  10. Cook on Low 4 hours.
