Pineapple Tuna Salad Recipe

This is a great summer recipe that can become something fun to do with your kids during a slow summer day.

Ingredients:

  • 12 oz fat-free tuna
  • 2/3 cup diced celery
  • 2 ½ oz crushed pineapple in juice
  • 2 tbsp. Fat-free mayonnaise
  • 2 tbsp. Fat-free sour cream
  • 1 tsp. Onion powder
  • 1 tsp. Dried parsley

Method:

  1. Place tuna in medium bowl and mash with fork.
  2. Add dice celery, pineapple with juice, mayonnaise, sour cream, onion powder, and parsley; mix well.
  3. Chill several hours before serving.
  4. Serve on fat-free bread slices, crackers, bagels, or pita pockets.
