How to Make Summer Cole Slaw

Appropriate for the summer season.

Since it's summer time, I think that it's the right time to make summer Cole Slaw.

Ingredients

  • ¾ cups salad dressing or mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vinegar
  • dash of hot pepper
  • salt to taste
  • 1 medium cabbage, thinly shredded
  • 1 small carrot ~ shredded
  • ¼ cup finely chopped red or green pepper
  • 2 tablespoons finely chopped onion

Method of Preparation

  1. Mix together salad dressing, sugar, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, and salt until well blended.
  2. Combine remaining ingredients in large bowl.
  3. Pour salad dressing mixture over cabbage mixture and toss to coat cabbage mixture until well coated.

Loretta, I haven't found a recipe yet of yours that I didn't want to try. I am adding this one to my list.

I really want to make your sweet potato pie. I have been so busy I just can't find time, I am going to have to put in on my to-do list.
