Hot Yummy Cottage Cheese and Peas Curry

After trying this mouth-watering dish, non-vegetarians start thinking to become vegetarian.

Ingredients

  • Two tablespoon of olive oil
  • 100 grams of frozen peas or fresh pea
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped green pepper
  • 1 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 cup finely chopped medium size tomato
  • 1-cup yogurt
  • Salt and pepper as per taste
  • Two cardamoms, two cloves and a cinnamon stick (1inch in length)
  • One-teaspoon mustard seed
  • 2-teaspoon cream (optional)
  • 20 cubes of cottage cheese

Method

  1. Shallow fry the cottage cheese cubes and keep it aside. Now in a frying pan add olive oil.
  2. When oil becomes hot, add mustard seeds, cinnamon stick, cloves and cardamom into it.
  3. Add onion. Fry it until onion become yellowish brown.
  4. Then add tomato and chopped green pepper.
  5. Cook it in simmer until tomato becomes tender.
  6. Then add tomato sauce and peas and cook it for five minutes.
  7. Add yogurt, salt and pepper
  8. . Stir it continuously for 10 minutes.
  9. Then add cottage cheese cubes.
  10. Then add cream.
