Microwave Home-Style Frozen Greens

  • 1 2qt. glass dish
  • 4 oz. pimientos
  • 2 16oz. frozen greens
  • 3 tbs. olive oil
  • 1 can of chicken broth
  • pinch of sugar
  • red pepper
  1. Pour 1st bag of greens in dish
  2. Pour chicken broth-pimientos over frozen greens
  3. Add pinch of sugar-red pepper and olive oil
  4. Now pour second bag of greens
  5. Stir and cover dish
  6. Cook fifteen minutes
  7. Stir well
  8. Check juice-if need add small amount of broth
  9. Continue cooking greens on Power level six until you reach desired tenderness

Great idea! I live alone, and cooking nutritious meals can be a hassle. Doing a huge batch of veggies and putting them up in freezer containers is a perfect solution.
