Crab-Stuffed Tilapia

A very tasty dish.

Crab stuffed Tilapia is a very tasty dish and it includes soft crab meat as well as spicy cayenne pepper. It is a good alternative for routine crab dishes and it is very suitable for weekend dinners.

Ingredients

  • 1 can of drained and chipped crab meat
  • 1/4 tablespoon of freshly ground cayenne pepper
  • 4 tablespoons of fresh butter
  • 1 onion
  • 1 rib celery
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup of parsley
  • 1/2 cup of bread crumbs
  • Paprika powder
  • 6 tilapia fillets
  • Melted butter

Method

  1. Chop the onion taken into thin and long pieces.(It is good if you take a small onion)
  2. Finely chop the celery into fine pieces.
  3. Fry onion pieces and celery pieces in a frying pan with butter and continue it till they become tender.
  4. Add parsley to this fried vegetables and fry for a minute.
  5. Put off the flame and remove the pan from stove. Add this fried mixture to bread crums and crab meat and stir well.
  6. Take Tilapia fillets in a plate and spread the crab meat mixture over them and roll the meat pieces.
  7. Now grease an oven pan and place the stuffed Tilapia fillets over it.
  8. Sprinkle some paprika powder and melted butter over these pieces.
  9. Place the oven pan in the oven and bake them at a heat of 400 degree Fahrenheit for about 25 minutes.
  10. The tasty crab stuffed Tilapia is ready to serve and it tastes better if eaten after sitting for 30 minutes.
