Ingredients:
carrot, skinned and sliced
few cuts of brocolli, broken into florets
1 1/2 tsp butter
2 tsp flour
6 oz milk
grated Cheddar cheese
Steam the carrot and brocolli until tender. Or boil it in a pot. Drain it.
Melt the butter and stir in the flour.
Gradually stir in the milk over a low heat until thickened. Keep on stirring.
Off the heat, stir in the cheese.
Mix in the carrot and brocolli.
Chop or puree it for younger babies.
Mix with cooked pasta.
