Ingredients
- 1 lb. 75% lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion , coarsely chopped
- 15oz can of cheap spaghetti sauce
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1 tbsp. lemon juice
- 2 tsps. tabasco sauce
- 1 tbsp. corn oil
- spaghetti
Method
1.Cook the spaghetti per package directions add a pat of butter and set aside.
2.Warm the corn oil in a big skillet.
3. Add onions and saute until soft.
4.Add ground beef and cook until no pink is seen.
5.Drain meat on 2 layers of paper towels, for about 5 minutes.
6.Wipe out skillet with paper towel.
7.Put can of sauce and meat in skillet.
8.Place on medium heat.
9.Sprinkle with sugar.
10.Add lemon juice and tabasco sauce.
11.Cook for half an hour on medium heat. Serve over spaghetti.
12.Feeds 4 to 6.
