Gluten Free Pasta and Fat Free Greek Yogurt

This is deliciously easy and a quick pasta dish.

Gluten free pasta can be found in most established supermarkets. Both gluten free pasta and spaghetti taste exactly the same as wheat pasta if cooked correctly. You can read the instructions on the packaging and go by the times indicated, but I choose to add a teaspoon of olive oil when boiling my pasta as this stops the pasta from sticking.

Fat Free Yogurt Sauce

This is a truly yummy and easy sauce to make and can be ready in seconds

Ingredients

  • One clove of garlic very finally chopped
  • One dessert spoon of olive oil
  • Two teaspoons of tomato puree
  • One tub of Total fat free strained Greek yogurt 150gm
  • This will be enough for two regular portions

Method

  1. Chop garlic very finally
  2. Place the olive oil in a small pan and gently heat slowly adding the finally chopped garlic.
  3. Once the garlic turns slightly golden remove pan from the heat and add the tomato puree.
  4. Leave for 2 minutes to cool and then add tub of fat free strained Greek yogurt.
  5. Mix thoroughly and leave off the heat.
  6. Place pan to the side.
  7. Boil pasta to taste adding 1 tsp of olive oil.
  8. Once cooked strain and place back in the pan.
  9. Add the sauce to the pasta and serve immediately.
  10. Salt and pepper to taste
  11. Simply divine and very yummy
