Crocked Ravioli

Make ravioli in your crock pot.

Ever tried to use your crock pot for cooking ravioli? It can be done! Grab your crock and let's try crocked ravioli.

Ingredients:

  • You will need:
  • 2 cups carrots sliced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 2 cans vegetable or chicken broth
  • 2 cans Italian style tomatoes (14 oz size, undrained)
  • 1/8 tsp pepper
  • 2 tbs dried parsley
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 package of refrigerated ravioli

Method:

  1. Combine all of the above, except, ravioli.
  2. Once this is all added, cover and cook on low for 6 hours or until carrots are tender.
  3. Uncover and take a hand mixer to mix this a little smoother if you would prefer.
  4. Put the crock on high and add ravioli.
  5. Since the ravioli is not frozen it should not take all that long to cook, 6 to 8 minutes.

This will serve 4.

If you find that you have too much sauce leftover you can always freeze the sauce and just pop it in the crock another day with another package of ravioli.

Enjoy!
