What’s for Dinner? A Spicy, Colorful Dish No One Can Resist!

A moderately simple, tasty solution to your dinner time needs.

Ingredients Needed:

  1. 1 lb. lean ground beef
  2. 2 large bell peppers (Red, yellow or both)
  3. 2 Tbsp finely ground black pepper
  4. 3 Tbsp fine salt
  5. 5 Tbsp cooking oil
  6. ½ clove of garlic
  7. 4 medium-sized potatoes
  8. ¼ cup of cilantro
  9. ½ of a medium onion
  10. 1 large Jalapeño

Method:

  1. Start off by getting yourself a large frying pan, placing it on the stove top on a medium heat. Now add your 5 tbsp cooking oil to the pan.
  2. While the pan is heating, take your four potatoes, and dice them. Size the dicing to your personal preference.
  3. Place the diced potatoes in your frying pan, and let cook, remembering to stir, to prevent burning, until they are semi-soft.
  4. While your potatoes are cooking, take your large bell peppers, and large Jalapeño, remove the seeds, then slice them into strips about a quarter inch wide.
  5. Next, mince your cilantro, onion, and garlic very finely.
  6. When the potatoes are semi-soft, mix in your bell pepper, and Jalapeño strips, your minced cilantro, onion, and garlic, and your salt and pepper.
  7. Let the dish cook until the bell peppers are soft, at this point, add in your lean ground beef. Stir it into the rest of the ingredients and let cook for around 15 minutes on medium heat.
  8. This plate easily makes around 5-6 servings. Serve with cooked tortillas if desired.

Enjoy!
