ingredients:
- 1-2lbs. of ground beef (thawed),
- one package of frozen vegetables,
- one can of condensed mushroom soup,
- one package of frozen tater tots
- shredded or grated cheese.
Method:
This recipe works best when made in a glass baking pan.
- First into the pan is the ground beef. Either by hand or with a spoon or other utensil, spread the beef along the bottom of the pan as evenly as possible.
- Next, spread the package of frozen vegetables over top.
- After this, open the can of mushroom soup and use a spoon to spread it as evenly as possible over the veggies.
- Onto this now goes the frozen tater tots.
- Top with shredded or grated cheese.
The baking time for this dish is one and a half hours at 325 degrees.
As I said, this recipe is very versatile. Broccoli, peas, greens beans or mixed vegetables can all be used. You may find a combination that you really like. Any kind of cheese can be used, also. Or, try sprinkling the dish with some red pepper flakes for a bit of spice. No matter what, this is always a very filling and satisfying meal.
