Spiced Beef Crisps |

A new recipe for all beef lovers out there. |
Ingredients- 250 ml Six Crowns
- 600g tenderloin of beef - cut in broad slices across grain about ½ cm thick
- 10 dried chillies }
- ½ teaspoon black pepper corns }
- 1 teaspoon jintan manis }
- 1 teaspoon jintan puteh }
- 1 teaspoon mustard powder }Ground Together
- 1 teaspoon kunyit powder }
- 2cm ginger }
- 1 stalk serai }
- 2 pips garlic }
- 4 Tablespoons fish sauce gravy
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon gourmet powder
- 2 eggs - beaten
- 60g cornflour
Garnishing- 300g chilled leafy Cameron's lettuce
- Cucumber slices
Method - Mix spices, Fish sauce gravy and seasoning in a mixing bowl
- Marinate beef slices. Keep in refrigerator for 2 hours.
- Pour beaten eggs into marinated beef
- Sprinkle cornflour over beef and blend in well with fingers
- Heat six crowns and deep fry till golden brown. Drain well on greaseproof paper before serving. Garnish. Serve hot
