Ingredients
- 1 lb. ground venison
- 1 medium onion
- ½ cup chopped red pepper
- 2 cups beef broth
- 3 cups canned diced or stewed tomatoes (Home canned is best…)
- 1 qt. green beans, drained (Home canned again is best…)
- 1 medium potato, chopped
- 2 large carrots, chopped
- 1 tsp. fresh basil
- 4 dashes Worcestershire sauce
- 1 bay leaf
- Oil
Method
In a large pot, cook ground meat, onions and pepper until meat is browned. Sir in broth, tomatoes, all vegetables and basil. Add bay leaf and Worcestershire sauce. Simmer for 30 minutes. Discard bay leaf. We like to enjoy this with a fresh corn bread.
