Ingredients
- 2-3 lbs chuck or pot roast 1 c. Italian salad dressing
- 3 tbsp. olive oil 1 1/2 tbsp. magic seasoning or cayenne spice rub
- 1 tbsp. black pepper 4 oz. water
Method
Marinate roast in salad dressing by placing in a resealable bag in the refridgerator overnight.
In the morning remove the roast and set aside the salad dressing. Brown the roast in olive oil
over medium-high heat on all sides.
Sprinkle generously with seasoning and pepper. Place roast in the slow cooker and add
water, along with a small portion of the salad dressing. Cook on low for 8 hours.
