Fruit Cobbler Recipe

This is a basic, but delicious, cobbler recipe that can be altered to contain any fruit of your choosing.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup Flour
  • 1 stick Butter or Margarine
  • 1 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1 cup Sugar (more may be desired for tart fruits)
  • 2 cup Fruit and respective juice*
  • *exact amount of juice is to taste, depending on how wet you like your cobbler, but a large can of fruit in syrup can be used and is just as good*

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350°F. While oven preheats, place butter or margarine in a 9x11 pan and melt in oven.  While this occurs, mix by hand, flour, sugar, and milk, pressing out as much of the lumps as possible.  Add mixture to pan of melted butter, then add fruit and disperse evenly.  Bake for approximately 45 minuets.
