Frosty Fruit Slush

Frosty fruit slush is a yummy slush to prepare for children to serve as evening snack time. They love it absolutely.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounces crushed pineapple, drained
  • 11 ounces mandarin oranges, drained
  • 5 large ripe bananas, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced fresh strawberries
  • 2 cups water
  • 12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 12 ounces frozen orange juice concentrate, thawed
  • 1 cup diet lemon-lime soda

    Method

    1. In a blender, place half of the pineapple, oranges, bananas and strawberries
    2. Cover and process until smooth
    3. Pour into a large bowl
    4. Repeat stir in the remaining ingredients , mix well
    5. Pour or spoon ½ cup each into 24 glass or plastic cups
    6. Cover and freeze for at least 2 hours
    7. Remove from the freezer 15 minutes before serving
    8. May be frozen for up to one month

      Tip:strawberries stay fresh longer if stored unwashed, with the stems on, in a sealed glass jar in the refrigerator.
