Ingredients:

  • 1 pound of icing sugar
  • 1/2 C. cocoa powder
  • 2 tbsp. butter or margarine
  • 3oz. cream cheese
  • Appropriate sized zip lock bag to accommodate recipe.

Method:

  1. Put all ingredients into the zip lock bag.
  2. Zip the bag closed all but about 1 inch at the end.
  3. Press out as much air as possible then zip the bag all the way closed.
  4. With bag completely zipped closed, squish the ingredients until evenly mixed (about 10 minutes.)
  5. Leave in a cool spot (fridge is the best place but it can be any place away from heat and sun) for half hour.
  6. Enjoy!

*Recipe can be varied by adding raisins, nuts, or shredded coconut.

As you know I am the only person on earth that doesn`t like chocolate. BUT!!! Mix it with cheese and I`ll eat it!! This sounds so easy that I may just make some.

Idea sounds yummy but I hate cream cheese, and am lactose intolerant but I'll pass this along to some friends who will probably die for something like this...

After it cools in the frige do you level it out in a dish or eat it out of the bag? I love chocolate. Thanks Darlene.

Lanne, my daugheer-in-law doesn\'t like chocolate either. I thought she was the only one.

Hi Ruby,

Of your sip lock bag is large enough (freezer storage) you can lay it on it's side to cool flat or you can prop the bag up in the fridge and slice it when it cools.

Oh my! I really should proof read before I submit.

Ruby, the first line above should read; If your zip lock bag is large enough.

This is a unique way of making fudge. I also am not a lover of chocolate although I do like fudge from time to time. Another good treat that's easy and sounds like fun to make.

I am off to the kitchen right now! This sounds great, I have friends who I know will do anything for a bit of fudge as we can't get the stuff we used to have in UK, so... who can weed gardens, paint fences and wash cars??? I am making fudge for favours!!!
Thanks Darlene this dotty Brit in Cyprus will have plenty of visitors this summer!
