Witch's Fingers

Good for sharing with guests on Hallows Eve.

Ingredients:

  • 250ml of Salt margarine
  • 125ml of brown sugar
  • A pinch of salt
  • 500ml of flour
  • 30 almond halves

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 325F.
  2. Line a cookie sheet.
  3. Cream margarine in a medium sized mixing bowl.
  4. Gradually add brown sugar about 1/3 at a time to creamed margarine.
  5. In another bowl combine flour and salt.
  6. Add flour mixture to creamed mixture 1/3 at a time beating in the first 2/3 and stirring in the last addition.
  7. Kneed dough for 10-15 minutes then cool for 15 minutes (chill), and make into finger shapes and put on an almond nail.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
