Salted Peanut Cookies |

Learn how to make these yummy cookies in a few simple steps. |
Ingredients: - 350g of plain flour
- Half a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda
- 115g of butter
- 115g of margarine
- 250g of light brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 10ml of vanilla essence
- 225g of salted peanuts
Instructions: - Preheat the oven to 190 degrees centigrade. Lightly Grease 2 baking sheets then grease the bottom of the glass and dip in sugar.
- Sift together the flour and the bicarbonate of soda and set aside
- With an electric mixer mix the margarine, sugar and butter until fluffy and light. Then beat in the eggs and vanilla essence and fold in the flour mixture.
- Stir the peanuts into the butter mixture until evenly combined
- Drop teaspoonfuls of the mixture and flatten
- Bake for about 10 minutes then individually place them on a cooling wire rack
