Chocolate Fudge Brownies

A chocolate lovers recipe! Good for fetes and sharing. Quick and simple to make, whip it up when guests arrive and serve as an after dinner dessert.


125 g Butter
1 cup Sugar
2 Eggs
1 tsp Vanilla
1 cup Flour
5 tbsp Cocoa
1 tsp Baking Powder

  1. Melt butter
  2. Add sugar and beat with fork
  3. Add eggs and vanilla and beat with fork
  4. Sift in the flour, cocoa and baking powder and beat with fork
  5. If you like nuts, you can add ½ cup chopped nuts or walnuts at this point
  6. Pour mixture into baking dish lined with baking paper, smooth surface
  7. Bake at 180ºC for 30 minutes
  8. When cold cut into rectangles or squares
  9. Sprinkle with icing sugar
