Coconut Burfi

Coconut burfi

  • Preparation time: 5mins
  • Cooking time: 20mins
  • Makes ¾ kg

Ingredients:

  1. Nestle milkmaid – 1tin
  2. Coconut – 300gm, desiccated
  3. Full cream milk powder – 100gms
  4. Milk – ½ cup
  5. Red color – few drops

Method:

Pour Nestle milkmaid, coconut powder, milk and milk powder into a thick bottomed kadai and mix well.
 
Heat the mixture, stirring constantly, so that it does not stick to the bottom of the pan.
     
Once heated, cook on a slow fire till the mixture starts leaving the sides of the kadai (7 to 10mins). Remove     from fire.
 
Divide the mixture into 2 portions. Spread out one portion evenly onto a greased plate.
