Ingredients:
- 1/2 lb butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 eggs
- 3 cups cake flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 2 teaspoons almond extract
Method:
- Cream butter and sugar together; add eggs, one at a time, beating after each addition.
- Sift flour and baking powder together; add alternately with milk to egg mixture.
- Add almond extract and beat for 3 minutes; pour into a well-greased and floured tube pan and bake at 325 degrees for one hour.
Caution: Contains almond extract which could possibly cause allergic reactions.
