My Homemade Malteaser Bars

Yummy malteaser bars.

Ingredients

  • 4oz margarine
  • 3 tablespoons syrup
  • Box maltesers
  • 21 digestive biscuits
  • Golden syrup

Method

  1. Melt margarine and syrup in pot
  2. Crush biscuits very finely
  3. Add to the melted margarine and syrup
  4. Add maltesers (but keep 14 aside)
  5. Mix altogether
  6. Press into a 9 inch square baking tin
  7. Crush the remaining maltesers very fine
  8. Melt 200 gm of cooking chocolate pour over the mixture
  9. Sprinkle the remaining crushed maltesers
  10. When cool, cut into squares
