Ingredients
- 2 sticks of butter or margarine
- 2 cups of sugar
- 2 cups of flour
- 5 eggs
- 1 tsp of Lemon Extract
- 1 cup coarsly chopped walnuts
Method
- Cream the butter, add sugar, mix until fluffy.
- Add eggs one at a time then add the lemon extract.
- Mix in the flour until thoroughly combined.
- Then fold in walnuts.
- Pour the mixture into a greased bundt pan and put in a preheated oven at 350 degrees for about 1 hour or until the cake has pulled away from the sides of the pan.
- Let sit for about 10 minutes on a cookie rack then invert onto a plate to cool.
- Once cooled you may sift powdered sugar lightly onto the cake to decorate.
- Slice and enjoy.
It may also be topped with fruit of your choice, whipped topping, or ice cream.
