Lemon Pound Cake

Here’s a recipe for lemon pound cake.

Ingredients:

  • 1 package of Duncan Hines Moist Deluxe Lemon Supreme cake mix
  • 1 package (3.4 oz) lemon instant pudding and pie filling mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 cup of water
  • 1/3 cup of vegetable oil

Method:

  1. Preheat oven 350 degrees
  2. Grease and flour 10-inch bundt pan or tube pan
  3. Combine cake mix pudding, eggs, water and oil in large bowl
  4. Beat medium speed with electric mixer for 2 minutes
  5. Pour into pan
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 to 60 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean

Glaze:

  1. Take a half cup of Duncan Hines creamy homestyle frosting
  2. Heat frosting in small saucepan over medium heat
  3. Stir constantly until thin or microwave on high (100% power) for 10 to 15 seconds Don't overheat
  4. Drizzle over cake when done

Sounds good but we don't have Duncan Hines here! There must be an alternative though.

You can always use Betty Crocker cake mix. If you don't have that, you can always use store brand cake mix.

Oh Yum!
Anything with "lemon" in it is a favorite with me! I like the
fact that it doesn't look too time consuming to make.

You're welcome. It doesn't take too long to make. I like how it has lemon in it too. I like regular pound cake too, but the lemon give it a special touch.

This sounds so yummy since being sick someone else cooks for me I could leave a slight hint print your recipe out and leave it by the oven. I think that would be very subtle yes ? LOL.
