Jackie's Key Lime Cake

Delicious key lime cake recipe.

Ingredients:

1 box of Duncan Hines lemon supreme cake mix.

  • 1 (3oz) package of lemon Jello
  • 1 cup of water
  • ¾ cup of oil
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 tbsp. of fresh lime juice
  • Frosting:
  • cups of confectionery sugar
  • 1/3 cup lime juice

Method:

Beat all the cake ingredients for 2 minutes and pour into an ungreased 9” x 13” cake pan. Bake for 35 to 40 minutes at 325° F. Remove from oven and prick all over with a meat fork. Spread the frosting all over the top of the cake while still hot. Refrigerate when cool.

I love Key Lime Pie! It's also my mother in law's favorite. I'll have to try it this weekend. Now I'm hungry, drats...lol!

This article is great! I enjoy a great recipe and this is it. Thanks for turning me on to this...but i'm going to need more:)...cassaroles, slow cooker recipes, etc. :) lololol
I'm not necessarily a 'key lime' kind of gal, but i think i'm going to have to try this recipe. Yummmmmmm!
