How to Make Cup Cakes

Fantastic mini cakes for your sweet tooth's satisfaction.

Ingredients: (Makes 12)

  • 60g butter
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 t vanilla essence
  • 1 cup self raising flour
  • 1/4 cup milk

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
  2. Place patty papers in patty tin.
  3. Cream butter and sugar until it is light, white and fluffy.
  4. Add egg and beat well.
  5. Add vanilla and beat again.
  6. Sift dry ingredients onto metal plate.
  7. Add flour and milk alternately.
  8. Mix well with wooden spoon.
  9. Place spoonfuls of mixture into papers.
  10. Bake 15-20 minutes until top springs back when lightly pressed.
