French Cake

A simple recipe for a great French cake.

Ingredient A (Blend together with a mixer)

  • Self raising flour: 30grams
  • Medium size egg (take yoke only): 4
  • Fine sugar: 12 grams
  • Cooking or olive oil: 20ml

Ingredient B (Blend together with a mixer)

  • Vanilla essence: ½ teaspoon
  • Medium size egg (take egg white only): 4
  • Fine sugar: 12 grams
  • Cream of tartar: 1/3 teaspoon

Method

  1. Mix ingredients A evenly
  2. Beat ingredients B until fluffy
  3. Separate ingredients B into two parts: add one part of ingredients B into ingredients A and mix well
  4. Rub some butter or margarine on the inner surface of cooker
  5. Pour ingredients A into cooker followed by the balance of ingredients B
  6. You may sprinkle some dried raisins, grounded peanuts and the likes onto ingredients B to add flavour
  7. Switch on the flame and cook until golden

When cooked, fold cake into semicircle and cut to the size you desire before serving.
