¾ cup butter/ghee
1½ cups sugar
1 cup of liquid milk
2½ cups of powder milk
½ cup Nestlé cream (optional)
Chopped Almond Nuts (optional)
- In a heavy saucepan melt butter/ghee
- Meanwhile mix the Nestlé cream with the milk powder
- Add sugar, liquid milk to the butter/ghee
- Stir continuously for 10 minutes
- Slowly add the powder milk and stir in continuously until the mixture becomes thick
- Grease a cake tray and spread the hot mixture flat
- Sprinkle the almond nuts
- Refrigerate for 2 hours
- Cut the barfi into diamond or square shapes
- Serve and enjoy!
