Ingredients:
- Fine sooji=2 cups
- Ghee -5 tbsp spoon
- Green chilles-10( max it as a paste )
- Sour curd -2 cups
- Finely chopped onions -1/2 cup
- Coriander leaves & curries leaves - 2tbsp
- -(a finely chopped)
- Boiled peas -1/4 cup
- Baking soda -1/2 cup
- Salt -11/2 tsp
Method:
- Fry the sooji finely with out any lumps and mix it curds.
- In a pan pour some ghee and season it with mustard seeds , cumin seeds ,asafetida powder, red chilles, channa dhal, thoor dhal and curry leaves
- Then add the finely chopped onions and sauté it .
- Then add salt and add them to the sooji mixture.
- Also add these to the mixture , chilli paste ,coriander and curry leaves (finely chopped ),baking soda.
- After mixing the contents nicly, pour them in a idli plate.(coat the plates with ghee or oil)
- Keep them in steam for about 7 mins.
Tips:
You can also add grated carrots or coconut over the ghee coated idli plates.
For this you will get 20 idlis…
