How to Cook Scrambled Eggs

There's nothing like fresh scrambled eggs in the morning to wake you up. Not enough time for a full cooked breakfast? This recipe will only take a few minutes, I promise.

Isn't the smell of scrambled eggs in the morning refreshing? I never wake up feeling well-rested, but eating a protein-packed breakfast can really help kick-start my day. An essential component of an energising breakfast is scrambled eggs.

Serves 4

Cooking Time: Around 10 minutes (includes preparation)

Ingredients

  • 8 free-range eggs
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3 teaspoons butter

Method

  1. Crack the eggs into a medium-sized mixing bowl
  2. Add the milk and salt
  3. Whisk this mixture with a fork until the ingredients are combined. Ensure that there are no streaks of white through the mix.
  4. Grab a saucepan and put the butter over medium heat for 1 minute. Coat the base of the saucepan with the melted butter to prevent sticking.
  5. Add the egg mix to the saucepan and cook over a medium heat for 30 seconds
  6. Use the wooden spoon to scrape the base of the saucepan and around the sides. Folds of egg will start to separate from the base. Continue this action for 2 minutes.
  7. Turn off the heat but continue the action from Step 6 twice more

Now, let's see how this tastes!
