Easy Buttermilk Pancakes

This is a recipe for buttermilk pancakes. It is so simple that even a child is able to make them.

These pancakes are delicious and super easy to fix. They are terrific for breakfast any day of the week. Since sugar and vanilla are added to the mixture, you may even discover that you don't need syrup on them.

  • Mix 1 cup flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, ½ teaspoon baking soda, and 1 tablespoon sugar.
  • Beat 1 egg. Then add 1 cup buttermilk, 1 tablespoon shortening, and 1 teaspoon vanilla to the beaten egg. Mix.
  • Combine the two mixtures. Bake in a lightly greased skillet, making sure both sides are browned.

Eat and enjoy!
