Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 1/4 cup icing sugar
- 1 tablespoon cocoa
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 25g butter
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup milk
Preparation
Sift all dry ingredients into a bowl. Melt butter and lightly beat the egg. Mix the butter, egg, and milk into the dry ingredients until combined. Warm a lightly greased frying pan, and drop the mixture by spoonfuls into the pan (2 or 3 at a time for easy turning.) As bubbles start to appear, turn to cook the other side. Serve warm with jam or butter
