Sweet Corn Bread

A good recipe for corn bread.

Ingredients:

  • 180ml of cornmeal
  • 310ml of flour
  • 200ml of sugar
  • 15ml of baking powder
  • 1 egg
  • 60ml of skim milk powder
  • 180ml of warm water
  • 60ml melted margarine

Method:

  1. Preheat oven to 425F.
  2. Grease square pan with oil.
  3. Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl.
  4. Beat the liquid ingredients in a small mixing bowl.
  5. Make a well in the dry ingredients, and pour the liquid ingredients into it.
  6. Mix ingredients together roughly and pour into a baking pan.
  7. Bake for 25 minutes or till golden brown.
