Salsa to Die for

Homemade Salsa that my family asks for at every gathering. I have even been asked to bring to an outdoor wedding. Enjoy. You can make as hot or mild as you want.

Adjust for serving or taste

Ingredients

  • 15 - 20 Firm Plum Tomatoes
  • 1 bunch Cilantro
  • 6 Cloves Garlic
  • 1 Vaidallia Onion (sweet)
  • 1 Bell Pepper (red, orange, or yellow)
  • 6 Serano peppers (seeded and stem cut off)
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley
  • 1/4 cup lime juice/or lemon
  • 1 tblspn sugar
  • sprinkle of salt or pepper to taste

Method

***Do Not Handle Serano Peppers by hand.

  1. Use glove or fork and knife.
  2. Chop off stems, cut in half and remove seeds.
  3. Chop all tomatoes in processor just until chunky, Not too slushy.
  4. Chop cilantro without stems in processor.
  5. Chop garlic, onion, and bell pepper.
  6. Chop parsley.
  7. Combine all ingrediants in large bowl, stir in lemon juice, sugar, and salt or pepper to taste.

Enjoy !

This is even better the next day.

My husband loves this on a nice Western Omlet.
