Easy Pigs in the Blanket

This is a simple, quick, and great tasting appetizer to add to the table the next time you have a party or get together. The kids will love to help you make these. Not only is this recipe easy to make, they taste good too.

Are you having a party and want something new to add to the menu? These little appetizers are not only easy and quick to make, but they taste so good. This is a project that the kids can also help make. I use smoked sausage, but you can also use the tiny hotdogs, if you prefer. With this recipe, you can make the pigs ahead of time and refrigerate till ready to cook. This recipe is sure to be a hit with the kids and adults as well.

Ingredients

  • 1 pkg. miniature smoke sausage links
  • 1 can of refrigerator biscuits

Preparation

  1. Take each refrigerator biscuit and cut it in half.
  2. Take each half and flatten with you hand.
  3. Place one sausage link into biscuit and roll up.
  4. Place sausage rolls onto a greased baking sheet and bake at 400 degrees for approximately ten minutes.

Pigs in Blankets are done when they are golden brown.

Serve with your favorite condiment such as mustard or ketchup.
