Jessica Rose's Tangy Taco Dip

This is a great dip for company, office parties, or just to impress the parents. Beautiful colors and quite tasty to boot!

Ingredients:

  • 1 carton whipped cream cheese
  • 1 carton whole sour cream
  • 1/2 cup yellow vadallia onion, minced
  • 1/4 cup jar or canned jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
  • ! 1/2 pkg. taco seasoning
  • 2 medium Roma tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/2 head lettuce, finely shredded
  • 1 can sliced black olives
  • 1 cup sharp cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup jalapeño jack cheese shredded
  • splash of whole milk
  • 1 hard squeeze lime juice

Method:

  1. Take taco seasoning and pour into bowl. Add splash of milk and a few drops of water to dissolve seasoning.
  2. Take a large mixing bowl and add whipped cream cheese and sour cream. Blend together.
  3. Add taco seasoning (after thoroughly dissolved) to mix. Add onions and jalapeño.
  4. Refrigerate for one hour.
  5. Take large platter and spoon on mixture. It should be a very nice texture and very spreadable.
  6. Layer drained lettuce, cheeses, tomatoes, then black olives.
  7. Squeeze 1/2 lime over top.
  8. Refrigerate until service.

There you have it! One hell of a good taco dip. Serve with your favorite chip!

Enjoy!
