Fat-Free Garden Dip with Fresh Dill

For a thinner dip you can use fat-free yogurt instead of the cottage cheese. Be sure to make a double batch. With no fat, you can indulge a little.

Ingredients

  • 2cups Fat-Free Cottage Cheese
  • 1 tbsp Lemon or Lime juice
  • 1tsp grated Lemon or Lime zest
  • 1 tbsp shredded Celery
  • 1 tbsp minced Scallion
  • 1 tbsp minced Red Pepper
  • 1 tbsp chopped Parsley or Cilantro
  • 1 tbsp chopped Fresh Dill Weed
  • ½ tsp liquid Honey
  • Fresh cracked Pepper

Method

  1. In a food processor, combine cottage cheese, lime juice, and honey and blend until completely smooth.
  2. Pour into a bowl and stir in remaining ingredients.
  3. Serve with veggie sticks or low-fat crackers (great with Melba Toast).
